1- General Counsel

Responsibilities:
A- To understand the strategy and objectives of the business and effectively communicate the risks and legal issues involved in any decision to the management.
B- To safeguard the reputation of MPCL by guaranteeing that it strictly follows applicable laws.
C- Provide proactive legal support to the management and support MPCL in all legal matters including in relation to business strategy, performance and risk management.
Requirements:
A- LLM/LLB from a reputable international law school with specialization in Corporate and/or M&A Law. Preference will be given to the candidate possessing valid practicing license.
B- 15/20 years of significant experience as corporate and/or M&A lawyer and other strategic transactions preferably in the E&P industry. Experience with private equity/venture capital will be preferred.
