1- Procurement Agent
Full Time
Karachi, Pakistan
Responsibilities:
A- The position is responsible for preparing all major procurement and contracting actions, develop, assess, and verify documentation in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations.
B- Responsible for subsequent follow-up and handling most correspondences crucially important for the Procurement & Contracting Section operations
C- Incumbent deals with contracts involving complex contractual structures largely composed of competitive and non-competitive negotiated contracts (involves multi-year) with U.S. and local firms, for construction and other large service categories.
D- Prepares solicitation and contract documents to obtain further clearance.
E- Liaises closely with Finance and requesting offices for funding-related issues, monitors performance of contract award, advises the contracting officer and perform as back-up Procurement Supervisor.
Requirements:
A- Minimum five (5) years of procurement related contracts and logistics experience is required.
B- Completion of two years of college or universities studies (14 years of education) is required.
C- The incumbent must have solid computer skills in relevant applications such as Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Web-based applications and Web navigation skills.
