1-Telephone Operator
Full Time
Islamabad, Pakistan
Job Responsibilities:
A- The incumbent of this position is responsible for providing telephone services to the entire mission.
B- Operates the sole central telephone switchboard for the Chancery on rotational basis.
C- Answers all incoming phone calls promptly, and routes them to the applicable office.
D- Places long distance telephone calls for the entire mission personnel and VIP delegations and maintains a log of such calls for accounting purposes.
Job Requirements:
A- Completion of Secondary School Certificate (10 years of education) is required.
B- Minimum two (2) years of experience in receiving and forwarding the telephone calls is required.
C- . Must have the knowledge of local telephone company (PTCL) and regulations regarding its telephone services offered.
D- Level III (Good working knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing in English and Level IV (fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing in Urdu are required. English language skills may be tested.
